Types of Records Available in League City

Felony records are held by the Galveston County District Clerk. Felonies range from state jail felonies through first-degree felonies. They are filed in the Galveston County District Courts and are public unless sealed.

Class A and B misdemeanor records are filed with the Galveston County Clerk and handled in the county courts at law. These include first-offense DWI, certain assault charges, and theft in certain dollar amounts. Both the arrest record and the court file are public.
